Solomon Haile

Title: PE; Senior Project Engineer
With AUE Since: 2015

Solomon has comprehensive experience in ground-up building design and commercial tenant improvement.  His familiarity with a variety of construction materials such as cold formed steel, hot‐rolled steel, wood, concrete, & masonry; establishes him as a highly proficient engineer.

With his exemplary level of engineering skill and talent working with clients, he was chosen to manage a complex project, Washington State Convention Center.  This project required his experience in working with multiple clients and stakeholders while providing a thoughtful engineered design.  The 14 floor exterior walls project was highly complex.  It not only included multiple clients, but also many disciplines, architects, and contractor’s collaboration.  His natural talent for interpreting technical requirements combined with his drive for creative design was crucial to meet client goals.  Solomon enjoys structural engineering because of the challenge of applying forethought in his design and ensuring clients’ needs are successfully executed.

His other project talents are in MEP unit anchorage and bracing design, wall mounted & free-standing fixtures anchorage design, performing site feasibility study and drafting technical reports.
