Katia Larramendi

Title: PE; Senior Project Engineer
With AUE Since: 2021  

Katia possesses strong knowledge of analysis and design in unique structural engineering projects. Her experience includes analysis on building’s superstructure to mid-rise reinforced concrete buildings. The expertise in gravity and lateral designs, utilizing programs such as ETABS and Risa, made her an ideal addition.   
 
More recently she has expanded her experience with commercial tenant improvement, including historic buildings. Katia’s portfolio includes design of storefronts, canopies, and fixture seismic bracing throughout the United States. Katia is knowledgeable with construction materials that include structural steel, light gauge steel, wood, concrete and masonry. 
 
This knowledge and expertise, combined with her exceptional skills as a project engineer, makes her an asset to any design team.  She strives to establish and maintain strong relationships with clients and project stakeholders by providing great service with a personal touch.
